WELL WATER TESTING – IS YOUR DRINKING WATER SAFE?
Even if you do not suspect a problem, testing your water is a good idea; testing well water is the only way to be sure it is safe to drink. According to the Connecticut Department of Public Health (CTDPH), well water should be tested every 1-5 years, depending on the contaminant. Additionally, it is recommended to test well water on a routine basis if you have water treatment equipment in your home to be sure it is working properly, when you notice a change to your water quality, or if you suspect your well has been contaminated.
